At Alert Training we put quality and learning at the heart of our Apprenticeship training and education. Apprenticeships help create a skilled workforce and anyone 16 or older can become an Apprentice. You can even have worked for a company for some time and still develop your skills with an apprenticeship. Good Apprenticeships combine effective on and off-the-job training with thorough assessment.
An Apprenticeship standard contains a list of the skills, knowledge and behaviours an apprentice will need to have learned by the end of their Apprenticeship. Standards are occupation-focused; they are not qualification-led. The learning happens throughout the Apprenticeship. And the Apprentice is assessed at the end. They need to prove that they can carry out all aspects of their job. They develop transferable skills and gain credibility too.
Intermediate Apprenticeships are the first level of Apprenticeships, a Level 2 qualification – equivalent to five good GCSE passes. Intermediate Apprenticeships are designed to equip apprentices with the skills to thrive in the world of employment. Alert Training offer Intermediate Apprenticeships in the areas of: Customer Service, Hairdressing and Hospitality.
